In this lesson, students will learn about scientists.

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can ask questions and make observations about the world around me.

WIDA Standard 4 (Science): Identify the five senses and describe how scientists use them to observe and ask questions.

WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Use descriptive words to tell what scientists do (look, listen, touch, smell, taste).

WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use frames to share (e.g., “Scientists use their ___ to ___.”).
