The Weather

In this lesson, students will learn about different types of weather and how it changes daily. 

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can identify different kinds of weather.

WIDA Standard 4 (Science): Identify common weather types and relate simple effects (e.g., cold, need a coat).

WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Use descriptive sentences with weather words (sunny, rainy, windy, snowy).

WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use frames to share (e.g., “Today it is ___; I need ___.”).
