Nolan and the Library

In this lesson, students will read about a kid who learns the rules of a library.

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can explain rules in the library and why it is important to follow them.

     WIDA Standard 5 (Social Studies): Explain the purpose of rules and identify authority figures who enforce them.
     WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Recount events in a story and explain cause/effect (breaking vs. following rules).
     WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use key words and phrases to talk about rules with peers.
