Elijah's Hike to the Lake

In this lesson, students will read about two people who go for a hike and see many different types of land and bodies of water.

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can describe land and water features I see in a story.

WIDA Standard 5 (Social Studies): Identify land and water features (mountain, river, lake, plain).
WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Recount events in sequence (hike → mountain → river → lake → bear → return home).
