  • WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Use descriptive words to identify and compare features (straight, wavy, zigzag, spiral).
  • WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use simple phrases to share ideas with peers (“This is a wavy line.” / “That is a zigzag line.”).
