Here Comes the Train!

In this lesson, students will read about a train carrying many different items. 

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can identify the positions of objects within a sequence using the words “first,” “second,” “third,” “fourth” or “fifth."

WIDA Standard 4 (Math): Identify and use ordinal positions in a sequence.

WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Use sequence/transition words to describe order.

WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use frames (e.g., “The ___ is first; the ___ is second.”).
