Solitario George

In this lesson, students will be introduced to Lonesome George, the last Pinta Island Tortoise. 

This lesson is only a brief introduction and builds a foundation for being able to understand the rest of George's story, which they will read later. Because we don't yet want students to know how George's story ends, this introduction is written in the present tense, even though George is no longer alive.
