Where Am I?

In this lesson, students will read about Kennedy, who uses her five senses to figure out where she is.

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can name the five senses and use them to describe a place.

• WIDA Standard 4 (Science): Identify senses and the body parts we use. 
• WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Use sequence words to describe events (“I smell… I hear…”).
• WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use words and phrases to share observations with peers.
