Counting Crayons to 20

In this lesson, students will count crayons up to 20.

CONTENT OBJECTIVE: I can count to 20. 

WIDA Standard 4 (Math): Compose numbers 11–20 as “ten and some ones”; count by 10s to 20.

WIDA Standard 2 (Language Arts): Explain thinking with phrases like “ten and ___ more.”

WIDA Standard 1 (Social/Instructional): Use frames to report (e.g., “There are 10 in the box and ___ more = ___.”).
