Step One Science: Earth Science 1.2: Weather and Seasons

This is the second Earth and Space Science path in the Garbanzo Academy. This introductory path introduces foundational concepts about weather, clouds, and the seasons. Students learn to identify types of weather, use simple tools to measure weather, and read a forecast. They explore how clouds can show what kind of weather is coming, recognize patterns across different types of weather, and connect seasonal changes to temperature, plants, and daily life.

Designed especially for Multilingual Learners (MLLs), this path includes both simplified informational texts and engaging narrative stories that use repetition, comparisons, visuals, and clear academic language to build science understanding while supporting English language development.
