Mini Path: Cells

This path introduces students to the concept of the cell as the basic unit of life. Students build background knowledge step by step, beginning with the difference between living and nonliving things, then learning what a cell is, exploring the parts of a cell, and understanding how cells work together in the body. Each expository lesson is paired with a narrative story that recycles academic vocabulary and provides additional exposure through context and repetition.
