Step One Science: Earth Science 1.3: Water and Earth's Surface

This is the third Earth and Space Science path in the Garbanzo Academy. This introductory path introduces foundational concepts about water, landforms, and how Earth’s surface changes. Students learn where water is found on Earth, describe the water cycle, and explore different landforms, soils, and rocks. They investigate how wind and water slowly shape the land and how natural events like volcanoes and earthquakes can quickly change Earth’s surface.

Designed especially for Multilingual Learners (MLLs), this path includes both simplified informational texts and engaging narrative stories that use repetition, comparisons, visuals, and clear academic language to build science understanding while supporting English language development.
