Step One Science: Life Science 1.1: Animals

This is the first Life Science path in the Garbanzo Academy. This introductory path introduces foundational concepts about living things, their needs, and their environments. Students learn to observe and describe patterns in plants and animals, identify living vs. non-living things, explore basic needs, and recognize life cycles and habitats.

Designed especially for Multilingual Learners (MLLs), this path includes both simplified informational texts and engaging narrative stories that use repetition, visuals, and clear academic language to build science understanding while supporting English language development.
