The Garbanzo English Vodcast Episode 2: Hello! My Name Is Cam

In this multi-artist episode, watch and listen as three people greet each other and introduce themselves and their pets. Beware problematic pets! This episode is entirely in English, but is strongly supported with both visuals and audio, making it the perfect immersive language learning experience for beginning English language learners. This episode is narrated by Daniel Albert, Jessica Ingram, Katherine Boils, and Sarah O'Donnell.

Materials for class

As a companion to each episode, we have some printable activities you can use with your class. Click here to download the activities for Episode 2. 

Here is a description of the activities! 

• Print out pages 1-3 and have your students complete the activities during or after watching episode 1.
• On page 1 students match each character with the correct nametag.
• On page 2 students complete a True/False activity identifying whether each statement is true or false.
• On page 3 students draw a picture of themselves and a pet (real or imaginary) and then fill out their information as well as their pet's information.
